Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex developmental disability. ASD can be identified by an individual having difficulties with: 

• Social communication

• Social interactions

• Repetitive movements, phrases, or manipulation of objects

 

ASD is referred to as a “spectrum” because it impacts individuals differently.
